On August 17, 2019, the National Assembly secured a 1-0 victory over Young Green Eagles in the Inaugural 2019 Eden University Division One Charity Shield final at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka.
Both teams had missed out on qualification to the Super Division in the Division One Zone playoffs, with National Assembly falling short against Kabwe Youth and Green Eagles narrowly losing to Kansanshi.
