On March 14, 2018, Facebook took a significant step in combating hate speech by banning the Britain-based Britain First Facebook page and its administrators.

The ban was a direct result of the page's consistent posting of anti-Muslim content, which violated several user policy agreements set by the social media giant.

According to Facebook, the page's administrators had been running a hate campaign targeting the Muslim community in Britain, which had attracted over two million likes and was gaining momentum.

The ban is a significant move towards actualizing the phrase 'Never again!' and preventing the spread of hate speech online.
