Nakuru Businessman Dies in Gang Attack

On August 17, 2019, a tragic incident occurred in Nakuru's Industrial Area, where a gang attack resulted in the death of a local businessman.

According to Nakuru Town West police boss Patrick Olonyi, Daniel Wachira, the owner of Biscept Limited Company, was attacked at midnight after returning from a supply trip to Kisumu.

Olonyi stated that the gang, armed with crude weapons, jumped through the perimeter wall to gain entry into Wachira's compound.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear, but the gang made off with Wachira's mobile phones and ransacked his offices before escaping.

Wachira's workers rushed him to Mediheal Hospital in Nakuru, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
