On August 17, 2019, Felix Shitsama, the former vice-chairman of AFC Leopards, tragically lost his life in a road accident at Timboroa.
According to reports, Shitsama was one of three passengers in the vehicle, with two others sustaining minor injuries. Fortunately, they have since been treated and discharged.
AFC Leopards confirmed the news on their official Facebook handle, stating that Shitsama met his death in a 'grisly road accident' at Timboroa.
Shitsama was elected as the club's vice-chair in 2016, polling 1613 votes to beat businessman Lawrence Githinji, who received 469 votes.
