Nairobi, Kenya's capital city, boasts some of the country's most affluent neighbourhoods, home to politicians, businessmen, celebrities, and high-status individuals.
These exclusive areas are characterized by high-end properties, with prices ranging from Ksh50 million to Ksh500 million, making them inaccessible to many Kenyans.
Here are the seven richest neighbourhoods in Nairobi:
1. Kitisuru ¶
Located in Westlands Constituency, Kitisuru is a leafy suburb with magnificent villas for sale, priced up to Ksh145 million.
2. Runda ¶
Sandwiched between Kiambu and Limuru roads, Runda is known for hosting embassies and ambassadors' residences, as well as well-known names.

The average price of a house in Runda is approximately Ksh150 million.
3. Muthaiga ¶
Located along Muthaiga and Limuru Road, Muthaiga is a posh estate home to some of Kenya's wealthiest individuals and embassies, including the US Ambassador to Kenya.
The Muthaiga Golf Club is also situated in Muthaiga, with an approximate price of Ksh65 million for a house.
4. Karen ¶
Karen is a mix of old colonial bungalows and modern mansions, with prices ranging up to Ksh175 million for one to own a house.

5. Lavington ¶
Lavington is home to high-end mansions, with prices starting at no less than Ksh50 million.

Located in Argwings Kodhek Road, Hurlingham is one of Nairobi's posh estates, offering apartment rentals from Ksh85,000.

7. Kilimani ¶
Kilimani is an affluent neighbourhood in Nairobi, featuring expensive hotels and clubs, and serving as a residence to some of the wealthiest in Nairobi.
