2. The Loyalty Test ¶
Men may test your loyalty by having their male friends flirt with you or by going out of their way to make you jealous.
Dr. Borrello advises that honesty is key in such situations, and you should tell the man what really happened.
3. Testing Whether You Have a Life ¶
A man may test whether you have a life by calling you to change your plans and spend time with him.
Dr. Borrello suggests that maintaining your independence and having a life outside of the relationship is essential, as a man who respects you will not try to control your every move.
4. Value and Self-Respect Test ¶
A man will only respect you if you value and respect yourself, and this is evident in how you react when he disrespects you.
Dr. Borrello advises maintaining your composure and calmly addressing the issue, rather than losing your cool and getting angry.
