On August 16, 2019, Nairobi County Governor Mike Sonko announced plans to expose honorable members who engage in relationships with slayqueens, only to abandon them when they become pregnant.
According to Sonko, he has received numerous complaints from women who were used and dumped with their pregnancies. He has also been working with investigators who have uncovered evidence of 2 Cabinet Secretaries, 4 Principal Secretaries, 7 Governors, 2 Presidential Candidates, 26 MPs, 9 Senators, 22 MCAs, and 8 prominent businessmen who are implicated in these cases.
Sonko has stated that he will be sharing the evidence, including SMS, Whatsapp chats, photos, videos, and audio recordings, on his official social media page and on Sonko TV. He has also warned the implicated members that they will be exposed in newspapers and on his social media platforms.
Furthermore, Sonko has announced that he is in the final stages of hiring advocates for the affected victims, ensuring that they receive the support and justice they deserve.
