On Thursday, a missile strike hit the Mitiga airport in Tripoli, Libya's capital, killing one worker and disrupting air traffic.
The airport, which has been repeatedly targeted since eastern forces loyal to Khalifa Haftar launched an offensive attack on the capital, halted traffic and diverted flights to Misrata, a city some 200km to the east of Tripoli.
The attack occurred despite a truce brokered by the United Nations last week, which was accepted by both Haftar and the Tripoli government. However, fighting has continued, reflecting the ongoing chaos in Libya since the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
