Manchester United's Alexis Sanchez has stalled on a move to Roma, causing the Serie A side to look elsewhere, the Sun reports.
Sanchez, 30, has just returned to training after an extended lay-off due to his involvement in the Copa America and is keen to leave in search of regular football.
According to reports in Italy, Sanchez would like to return to Serie A, where he enjoyed five successful years with Udinese before joining Barcelona for £30million in 2011.
Sanchez scored 12 Serie A goals in his final campaign with Udinese and is still respected in Italy, where the transfer window remains open until September 2.
