As the 2019-20 Premier League season officially kicked off on Friday, August 9, bookmakers have already started predicting which managers might be shown the exit doors before the season wraps up.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been named among the top five managers who could be sacked this summer, despite guiding his Red Devils to a 4-0 victory over Chelsea at Old Trafford last weekend.
However, bookmakers believe the Norwegian tactician will be the third coach to be sacked just one match into the season, with odds of 7/1.
According to SunSport, Newcastle boss Steve Bruce tops the list of managers who will be shown the exit doors before the season wraps up, with his first match in charge of the club ending in a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Saint James' Park.
Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson and Watford boss Javi Gracia have also been listed among the under-fire managers who might be shown the exit doors before the end of the season.
On the other hand, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is the most unlikely manager to be sacked this season, with bookies believing he will stay on the job longer than the above-named coaches this season, priced at 10/1 odds.
