On August 15, 2019, Francis Atwoli, the flamboyant Secretary General of the Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU), was rushed to the hospital after falling ill.
According to sources, Atwoli had complained of amnesia and tiredness earlier in the day, sparking concerns about his health.
Despite efforts to speak to his family members, they were unavailable for comment.
However, his personal doctor was more optimistic, stating that Atwoli would make a full recovery.
