Artistes such as Khaligraph Jones, Willy Paul, Fena Gitu, and Sauti Sol have expressed their disappointment and anger at the meager monies they received on Mpesa as payment of their royalties.
According to a breakdown of MCSK's budget by Joe Muchiri, the organization uses up a significant portion of the monies collected on behalf of the artistes, leaving them with peanuts.
