On August 15, 2019, FIFA, the world governing body of football, took a significant step in a long-standing dispute with Liberia's Musa Hassan Bility. The organization has applied to the Court of Arbitration of Sport (CAS) to become a co-defendant with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in a case filed by Bility.
