On Thursday, a dramatic scene unfolded at the Kibera Law Courts, where seven suspects were brought to stand trial in a state of intoxication.

According to pictures circulating on social media, the suspects were lying on the ground outside the courtroom, with two police officers attempting to lift them up one by one.

As seen in a video, the officers' efforts were met with resistance, with one of them suggesting that the suspects needed 'fresh air' before they could stand.

One of the officers even went to the extent of helping a drunk suspect put on his shoes.

The incident has left many wondering how the suspects ended up in court in such a state.

Some citizens have raised questions about the transportation of the suspects, with one person speculating that they may have been brought to the cells with booze in the vehicle.

Others have expressed concern about the treatment of the suspects, with one person calling for the human rights section to take note.

This is not the first time such an incident has occurred, with a similar scenario unfolding recently involving Molo MP, Kimani Kuria.
