On August 16, 2019, Kevin Mulei will join a list of distinguished African leaders, presidents, and ambassadors who have won an Achievers Award. The confirmation comes after he was announced as the 2019 recipient of the prestigious African Entertainment Promoter Award.
Kevin Mulei, a former DJ, has been running the prestigious Gospel Awards Ceremony in Africa, the Groove Awards, for 14 years. He also runs several other successful businesses, including NRG Radio, Choice Radio, FunX, Film Studios, and MoSound Events, the leading brand experiential company in the region.
The Voice Achievers Awards, which have been held annually for eight years, will be held on African soil for the first time in Nairobi, Kenya. The awards recognize outstanding men and women who have made substantial contributions to the advancement of Africa and its people.
Previous awardees include former President Kenneth Kaunda of Zambia, former First Lady of The Gambia, Lady Zeinab Suma Jammeh, and other notable figures. Kevin Mulei will also be inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Voice Achievers Award 2019.
