On Wednesday night, Kenyan entertainer Nicholas Mugo Mwangi, popularly known as 'Moh Spice,' was arrested at Space lounge in Ngong road, Nairobi.
The arrest came after a photo of him with a concealed firearm went viral, sparking a public outcry.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the arrest was made after photos were posted online showing him with a pistol tucked during an event at K1 Clubhouse.
During the arrest, DJ Moh Spice was found in possession of a Steyr pistol and 174 rounds of ammunition.
The Steyr Pistol A2 MF is a newly designed firearm, part of the STEYR ARMS product family.
As of now, DJ Moh Spice is in police custody pending further investigations.
