On August 9, 2019, Huawei announced the release of EMUI10, a groundbreaking operating system that transforms cross-device experiences.

According to Dr. Wang Chenglu, President of the Software Engineering Department at Huawei Consumer Business Group, EMUI10 pioneers distributed technology applications, providing an all-scenario experience.

EMUI10 boasts improved GPU Turbo technology, Link Turbo network aggregation technology, and the EROFS super file system, which enhances Android's random read by 20% and smooths third-party applications by 60%.

With over 500 million daily active users, EMUI has become a global phenomenon, supporting 77 languages and available in 216 countries since its inception in 2012.

EMUI10 introduces a dark mode, UX design updates, and a new standard of smooth operation, ensuring visual comfort and consistency.

One of the most significant features of EMUI10 is its adoption of revolutionary distributed technology, which enables users to connect multiple devices and share screens, making it easier to exchange data through drag-and-drop.

As Huawei continues to push the boundaries of innovation, the company aims to provide more applications and synergized cross-device experiences for users, with plans to ship 100 million units in just five months this year.

The P30 series will be the first to upgrade to the EMUI10 Beta version, with other devices to follow soon.
