Marriage is often touted as a bed of roses, but for many couples, it's a challenging journey that requires patience, perseverance, and understanding. This is a lesson that Jua Cali's wife, Lily Asigo, has learned the hard way.
According to Lily, she walked out on her husband after just three weeks of living together in 2013, citing the need to adjust to a new life and care for their four-month-old baby.
"I packed my bags 3 weeks after we moved in (in 2013) cz I had to adjust to a lot of things plus our baby was only 4 months old," Lily revealed in a recent Instagram post.
Despite the challenges they faced, Lily and Jua Cali have managed to build a strong relationship over the years. In her post, Lily credited her husband for handling her mood swings well and for supporting her growth as a person.
"Over the years I can confidently tell you that, what couples do in private is what will make or break the relationship. I thank my hubby for handling my mood swings well and for making sure I grow as a person. We have achieved a lot together and I thank him for not giving up on me either," she wrote.
