On August 15, 2019, a photo of popular reggae DJ Moh surfaced, showing him attending a K1 birthday party with a gun.
According to eyewitnesses, the K1 photographers initially posted the photo but later deleted it. However, Urban254 had already captured the image, which was subsequently shared online.
The incident has raised questions about DJ Moh's actions and whether he is a licensed firearm owner. Under the Firearms Act, it is an offense to possess a firearm without a valid certificate.
Section 2 of the Act states that a person shall not purchase, acquire, or possess a firearm or ammunition without holding a valid firearm certificate. Failure to comply with this regulation can result in severe penalties, including imprisonment for up to 15 years for prohibited weapons and up to 10 years for other types of firearms.
