A 35-year-old man from Kiambaa village in Uasin Gishu county met a tragic end during a sexual encounter at a maize plantation in Uasin Gishu County on August 12, 2019.
According to a police report filed at Kiambaa police station, the deceased, Julius Bor, had spent the Monday holiday drinking with his 40-year-old lover, Janet Misik Cheruto, at a bar in Chepyakwai trading centre.
After leaving the bar at around midnight, the couple got into a maize plantation for intercourse, where Julius Bor collapsed and died.
Janet Misik Cheruto reported the incident to the village elder, who then informed officers at Kiambaa Police post. Officers found Julius Bor's body lying in the maize plantation with no physical injuries.
Janet Misik Cheruto reportedly told detectives that Julius Bor became obsessed with nonstop sex after ingesting a sex booster pill.
"We were headed to the house but he became impatient and demanded that we do it at the maize plantation. However, he started becoming sick in the process before dying instantly," Janet Misik Cheruto was quoted by Nation as saying.
The body was moved to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary in Eldoret awaiting a postmortem.
