Silverstone Air Services is expanding its operations to Homa Bay, with plans to start direct flights between Nairobi and Homa Bay in September.

The airline aims to boost trade between the two counties by providing a convenient and efficient transport service for traders and tourists in the region.

According to Silverstone Air sales manager Patrick Oketch, the addition of this route is a result of increased demand for transport services on the route.

"The numerous enquiries we have received since the launch of Kisumu route have prompted us to add this new route to our network," Oketch said in an interview.

The daily flights will leave Wilson Airport in Nairobi at 0730hrs and arrive in Homa Bay at 0815hrs, before departing from Kabunde Airstrip in Homa Bay at 0840hrs and arriving in Nairobi at 0925hrs.
