Pastor Ng'ang'a Reveals Why He Chose a Younger Wife

At 66 years old, Bishop Ng'ang'a, the Neno Evangelist, has been a hot topic of discussion in recent weeks due to his sensational outbursts. One of his rants in May 2019 saw him accuse members of his church of disrespecting his wife, sparking controversy.

Speaking to Radio Jambo on August 14, 2019, Ng'ang'a revealed that he started courting his wife, Apostle Loise Murugi Maina, while she was still a student at the University of Nairobi. He was initially skeptical due to public opinion, but eventually settled for Murugi because she was 'fresher' than other ladies.

Ng'ang'a explained that he wanted a younger lady because the other ones had 'more mileage.' He also stated that he wanted a wife who would take care of him when he gets old, and that he couldn't go with an older lady as they would age together.

Ng'ang'a met Loise's mother through his church, and eventually spotted the lady who would become his wife through her. He married Murugi after the death of his first wife, with whom he had four children.

Ng'ang'a's comments have sparked debate, with many questioning his reasons for choosing a much younger wife.
