Manchester United have made a significant move in the transfer market by signing Norwegian wonderkid Isak Hansen-Aaroen, who was widely linked to Liverpool and Everton.

According to reports, the 15-year-old forward was trialed by both Liverpool and Everton, but ultimately decided to join their rivals at Old Trafford.

As per FIFA regulations, Hansen-Aaroen will only complete the switch when he turns 16, which means fans will have to wait a little longer to see him in action.

The Red Devils are set to splash £90,000 for the youngster's services, having impressed during trials at the club's Carrington training base.

The signing of Hansen-Aaroen comes after United sent Aidan Barlow to Tromso on a season-long loan, in a move aimed at building a long-term partnership between the two clubs.

Tromso's sports manager, Svein-Morten Johansen, expressed his excitement about the deal, saying, "We think this is very exciting because we cooperate with a big club and we have already developed a good cooperation, and this has now materialised in that we borrow Barlow." He added, "This could be the start of a long-term collaboration that can give us a lot. We already have a very good dialogue."
