Price Cut for Huawei Y6 Prime 2019 in Safaricom Shops ¶
As of August 14, 2019, Huawei has announced a price cut for the Y6 Prime 2019 in Safaricom Shops across the country. The new price is KES. 12,299, down from the recommended retail price of KES. 13,490.
This price cut makes the Y6 Prime 2019 a more competitive option against devices like the TECNO Spark 3 PRO. The Y6 Prime 2019 was previously available at a discounted price of KES. 12,499 in Huawei Retail Shops, but the price cut in Safaricom Shops is a welcome development for consumers.
The Y6 Prime 2019 features a 6.09-inch display with a dewdrop notch, a 13MP main camera, an 8MP front camera, and a 3020mAh battery. It also comes with a rear fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature.
It's worth noting that Safaricom Shop devices are normally a little more expensive than those in other retail outlets. However, with this price cut, the Y6 Prime 2019 is now a more attractive option for consumers looking for a budget-friendly smartphone.
