On August 14, 2019, Pastor Ng'ang'a revealed in an interview that he was thrown out of his former church due to his popularity among the church members.

Contrary to what people think, Pastor Ng'ang'a did not call himself a 'pastor.' Instead, the church members started calling him 'pastor' after he prayed for them and they got healed.

'I would pray for people and they would get healed so they started calling me pastor.'

According to Pastor Ng'ang'a, a letter was written to him, informing him that he was not a church member and that he should leave. This was despite the fact that he was popular among the church members, with 20-30 out of 80 members being his followers.

When Pastor Ng'ang'a opened his own church, he brought along the pastor who officiated their wedding and made him a church leader.

However, Pastor Ng'ang'a has had his fair share of drama since founding his own churches. Weeks ago, he was caught ranting and abusing his church elders for disobeying his wife.

'Elders from my church started disobeying my wife because she is young. PEOPLE SAID SHE WAS YOUNG AND I ASKED THEM, WAS SHE MEANT TO BRING ME PROFIT? They said she was young so I asked them if the wife was mine or God’s.'

Despite the drama, Pastor Ng'ang'a remains confident, saying, 'I loved her that way.'
