August 10, 2019, will be a day Ghanaian nurse Akosuah May will never forget. She had become suspicious of her partner's fidelity and decided to test his loyalty by creating a fake online account.

Setting up the decoy profile, Akosuah started chatting with her boyfriend, who was oblivious to the fact that he was talking to a fake person. To her shock, he told her that his girlfriend had died two months ago.

Akosuah took to Twitter to share her experience, writing: "I created a fake account and started chatting my boyfriend, he told me his girlfriend just died two months ago."

The post quickly went viral, garnering over 156,000 likes and hundreds of comments. Many users slammed Akosuah for trying to lie to her boyfriend in the first place, while others defended her actions.

One user wrote: "A lie got you a lie. You're even." Another added: "This is a lie. Men don't cheat! It's you who was cheating for pretending to be someone else!"

However, some users suggested that the boyfriend may have been talking about another woman he was with, and that Akosuah was jumping to conclusions.

Regardless of the interpretation, Akosuah's post sparked a heated debate about loyalty, trust, and relationships.
