AFC Leopards Bolster Squad with Three New Signings

Published on August 14, 2019, AFC Leopards has unveiled three new players as they gear up for the new season.

Collins Shivachi, a former Tusker right-back, has signed a three-year contract with the club. He is joined by John Wanda, an attacking midfielder who has previously played for Green Commandoes and Vihiga United, also on a three-year contract. Collins Shichenje, another player from Green Commandoes, has been signed on a one-year contract.

These new signings bring the total number of new players at AFC Leopards to 10, following the unveiling of Tresor Ndikumana, Vincent Habamahoro, Ismael Diarra, Soter Kayumba, Hansel Ochieng, Robert Mudenyu, and Benjamin Ochan.

The team recently defeated Administration Police 2-0 in a friendly match at the KTTC Grounds in Gigiri, with Austin Ochieng and Hansel Ochieng scoring a goal each.

AFC Leopards finished 11th in the league last season and is eager to improve its performance in the upcoming season.

The team will travel to Arusha on Friday to face Tanzanian giants Yanga SC in a friendly match at the Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium on Sunday.
