Manchester United's Alexis Sanchez, a 30-year-old Chilean forward, was involved in a heated argument with 17-year-old Mason Greenwood during a training session on August 14, 2019.
According to reports, Sanchez was fouled by Greenwood during his first training session back after recovering from a hamstring injury sustained during the Copa America.
Sanchez, who joined Manchester United from Arsenal in January 2018, was not considered for the season opener against Chelsea, but Greenwood made a second-half substitute appearance in the 4-0 win over the London club.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has assured Sanchez that he remains a vital part of his plans, but the Chilean international is still behind other squad members in terms of fitness schedule.
Greenwood, on the other hand, is hopeful of more first-team appearances this season, and Solskjaer is understood to be ready to hand youngsters in the squad opportunities to play a part in the first team.
