Published on August 14, 2019, Cape Media Limited, the company behind Kenya's leading Kiswahili TV station TV47, is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive sustainable financial growth for both TV47 and its upcoming digital platform, TV47Digital.
With over 95% of its content produced locally, TV47 boasts a competitive edge as the only station in Kenya broadcasting in Swahili, a language spoken by millions across Africa.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a growth strategy that balances financial gain and customer satisfaction, researching market trends, identifying new markets and customer needs, and promoting the company's products and services.
Main Responsibilities ¶
- Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Research market and industry trends
- Identify new markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients/partners
- Promote the company's products and services
- Brainstorm with the business development team to create new project strategies
- Create sales pitches
Requirements ¶
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Masters degree is an added advantage)
- Five years of proven working experience as a Business Development Manager in an active media environment
- Knowledge of digital media operations
- Team player and highly enthusiastic individual
