Wedding Guest Caught on CCTV Stealing Bride's Bag in Uganda

On August 10, 2019, a wedding ceremony took place at Troupe Centre in Kisaasi, Ntinda, Uganda, attended by many high-profile guests.

However, the celebration was marred by a shocking incident when a guest, later identified as Tony Asega, was caught on CCTV stealing the bride's bag.

According to reports, the bag contained valuables worth over USh 1.9 million (approximately KSh 53,280), including two pochis and two wedding invitation cards.

After a thorough search and investigation, the CCTV footage was released, identifying Asega as the culprit.

In the video, Asega is seen removing the bag from the main table while the guests were distracted, and later returning to the table to retrieve the bag and make a quick exit.

Asega was later identified and is currently being investigated by the authorities.
