On August 14, 2019, Pastor James Ng'ang'a, the founder of Neno Evangelism Centre, shared his thoughts on his marriage to his younger wife, Loise Murugi Maina.
The couple tied the knot in a colorful ceremony at the Windsor Golf Club in 2012, with high-profile guests in attendance, including then-Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka.
During an interview with Massawe on Radio Jambo, Ng'ang'a explained why he chose to marry a younger woman, stating, 'She is educated, beautiful, humble, and submissive to me.'
Ng'ang'a also addressed criticism that he was too old for his wife, saying, 'When I get old, she will take care of me. I wanted to marry other women, among them politicians, but then I looked at their mileage and decided not to because we would age together and take medication together someday.'
He further clarified that he didn't marry an older woman because he was afraid she would bring her grown children and change his property to their names, or that she wouldn't love his children from his previous marriage.
Ng'ang'a and his wife have four children together, and he expressed his desire to have more, saying, '...and we will get more. We live together and relate well as a family.'
