On Tuesday, Bugatti's La Voiture Noire, the world's most expensive new car, will make its US debut at the Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance in Monterey, California, as reported by CNBC on August 13, 2019.
With a price tag of $18.7 million, the La Voiture Noire is a one-of-a-kind supercar that pays homage to Bugatti's rich history. The car's design is inspired by the Type 57 SC Atlantic coupes developed by Ettore Bugatti's son Jean in the 1930s.
La Voiture Noire was created to celebrate Bugatti's 100th anniversary and has already been sold to an anonymous buyer. However, the buyer won't receive the car for at least two years, as it is being showcased at the Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance.
