On August 12th, the Canadian government held its latest Express Entry draw, inviting 3,600 individuals to apply for the country's permanent residence.

The cut-off Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for this draw was 466, a seven-point increase from the 459 cut-off score in the previous draw on July 24th.

Express Entry candidates are ranked based on the CRS score, which takes into account factors such as age, education, skills level, work experience, language proficiency, and family ties to Canada.

Selected candidates receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA), allowing them to proceed with their application for Canadian permanent residence.

As of 2019, a total of 52,600 ITAs have been issued through the Express Entry program, with a target of 81,400 ITAs for the year.

For more information on the Express Entry program and to check if you meet the minimum score, visit the official Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada website.
