The body of an unidentified pregnant woman was discovered along a roadside in Mwiki on Tuesday morning, according to police reports. Authorities confirmed the woman was seven months pregnant and sustained injuries before her remains were transported to City Mortuary for further examination.
Separate incidents involving armed suspects unfolded over the weekend and Monday. Three individuals were killed in two distinct encounters with police, with two fatally shot in Kayole's Masimba area and another in Buruburu. A homemade firearm was recovered from the slain suspects, prompting ongoing investigations into their activities.
Following the Kayole shooting, police announced they were pursuing three additional suspects who fled the scene. The operations occurred amid heightened security measures in Nairobi, where police commander Philip Ndolo has emphasized strict enforcement against criminal activity.
