On August 13, 2019, Mettā Nairobi, in partnership with HIVOS East Africa, announced the selection of five fashion startups for its third bootcamp programme – Fashion Product Lab 3.0.

The eight-week intensive program aims to help entrepreneurs in the fashion industry launch their brands into local and international markets and develop new and diverse product lines.

Under the concept of 'Inspiring Change – Unleash the Potential', Mettā will provide an intensive bootcamp program to the fashion designers using its expertise in the local business environment and financial services.

The selected startups include Collins Karanja's The Urban Gents Ltd, Joel Meshak's Naivaa Apparel, Yvonne Asunnah's Yvonne Asunah Kenya, Dorothy Ochieng's Chicolatta, and Carole Mwangura's Caverroh.

The Fashion Product Lab 3.0 will conclude in a one-of-a-kind Fashion Runway in September 2019, where entrepreneurs will pitch their companies and showcase their collections for funding and partnerships.
