TV news anchor Anjilee Gadhvi has been bravely fighting liver cancer since 2018, and despite undergoing chemotherapy, she has been left with severe side effects.

As she prepares to spend two weeks in India for specialized treatment, Gadhvi shared a heart-wrenching clip on her Twitter handle on August 12, 2019, where her five-year-old daughter breaks down in tears upon realizing her mother has to travel abroad for treatment.

The little girl struggles to understand why her mother has to leave the country when there are better health facilities available in Kenya, only to be told that the hospitals in the country do not have the machines to treat her.

"Agha Khan has the machines but my doctor is in India and he knows how to treat my chest better since so far I'm doing well, I don't need oxygen all the time," Gadhvi explained to her daughter.

"Agha Khan does not have the machines to treat mama, those machines in India look nicely inside mama, those doctors in India know more about mama's chest and are able to help mama to be more better and more stronger," she added.

Her followers applauded her for bravely fighting the disease and handling the situation with so much charisma that made it easy for the little girl.
