Published on August 13, 2019, Pastor Nganga, the founder of Neno Evangelism, has sparked controversy with his claims about healing cancer.
According to Nganga, prayer and faith are the main ingredients in getting a person healed. He cited several instances where he had prayed for people with cancer, including a woman who had been undergoing dialysis for eight years and a man whose jaw had been 'eaten off' due to cancer.
Nganga made these claims during an interview with Massawe Japanni, where he stated that he would have prayed for the late Bomet governor Joyce Laboso if she had attended his church.
'If she had come to me I would have prayed for her,' Nganga said. 'I do not go to hospitals to pray for people. Don't they know where my church is?'
Nganga also revealed that he does not manage Neno Evangelism alone, as he is a busy man with a TV station called Sasa TV. He emphasized that his mission mainly focuses on fighting evil spirits.
