Man Dies in Maize Plantation During Drunk Sex

On August 13, 2019, a 35-year-old man, Julius Bor, tragically lost his life in a maize plantation in Kapsaret Constituency, Uasin Gishu County.

According to reports, Bor and his 40-year-old lover, Janet Misik Cheruto, had been drinking at a bar in Chepyakwai trading centre before leaving together at around midnight.

They allegedly entered a maize plantation to engage in a sexual encounter, where Bor collapsed and died.

Police reported that the woman rushed to get Bor water to drink, but he remained unconscious.

The woman then reported the incident to the village elder, who informed security officers at Kiambaa Police Station.

The body was moved to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary in Eldoret, awaiting a postmortem.
