Manchester United's Matteo Darmian is set to join Inter Milan on a free transfer, according to reports.
As per Mail Online, citing sources in Italy, Darmian has already agreed to join Inter Milan when his contract with Manchester United expires next summer.
The Italian full-back has struggled for game time at Old Trafford since his arrival in 2019, making just 92 appearances in four years.
With potential suitors allowed to enter into pre-contract agreements with players in their final six months on their contract, Inter Milan appears to have stolen a march on other interested clubs.
Inter Milan have already signed Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United in the summer, and the signing of Darmian would be their second signing from the Premier League club in recent times.
Initially linked with a surprise move to Juventus and Barcelona earlier in the summer, Darmian looks set to join Inter Milan after being unable to hold down a starting role at Manchester United.
