Galatasaray officials are in London to discuss a possible move for Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama, according to Fanatik on August 13, 2019.
Wanyama has found himself further down the pecking order at Tottenham, with the likes of Ndombele, Winks, Sissoko, Skipp, Dier, Alli, and Eriksen competing for midfield spots under Mauricio Pochettino.
With the English transfer window now closed, Wanyama's potential move to another Premier League team is no longer an option.
Galatasaray's interest in Wanyama comes as the Turkish Super Lig side also considers a move for Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko to strengthen their midfield ahead of the 2019-20 season.
Wanyama has had a mixed season at Tottenham, struggling with injuries and competition for a starting spot in the team.
He has also been involved in a separate controversy back home in Kenya, where he has sued an oil refinery company for violating his image rights.
"I did not consent to my image being used by the company. Even after I sent them an official complain, they still use my images on their website and online advertisements which is disturbing since I have a contract with other companies," Wanyama told the court.
