On August 4, 2019, Harambee Stars coach Sebastien Migne led his team to a crucial African Nations Championships qualifier against Tanzania at the Moi International Sports Centre in Kasarani.
Exactly two weeks later, on August 13, 2019, Football Kenya Federation announced that it had parted ways with Migne, terminating his contract on mutual consent.
According to a statement from FKF, the federation and Migne agreed on a settlement, and the federation thanked Migne for his exemplary work and high standard of professionalism during his tenure, which included qualifying the country for the 2019 AFCON tournament for the first time in 15 years.
