Published on August 13, 2019, a video of a Ugandan musician's dance moves has gone viral, leaving many in stitches.

The musician, who was performing at a function in Jinja, Uganda, during International Youth Day celebrations, seemed to have forgotten the traditional African way of dancing, which involves stiff body movements and shuffling legs.

Instead, she opted for a more provocative style, twerking and whining her body like a snake, leaving the country's vice president, Edward Ssekandi, in complete shock.

According to eyewitnesses, the musician first approached a lady who was seated a few metres away from the vice president and the two hit the floor together, dancing like a bunch of wild revelers.

However, when the musician approached the vice president, he seemed to be struggling to keep up with her dance moves, looking like he was about to break a sweat.

The incident has sparked a lot of debate on social media, with many people praising the musician's confidence and others criticizing her for embarrassing the vice president.
