On Sunday, Arsenal made a promising start to their Premier League campaign with a 1-0 win over Newcastle, courtesy of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's second-half strike.
The victory was all the more impressive given that the Gunners were without key players Alexandre Lacazette and Mesut Ozil, who were stood down due to security concerns following a recent carjacking attempt.
Despite not being at full strength, Arsenal's performance was enough to convince Aubameyang that the team is in for a thrilling season.
"For sure it is going to be crazy. I am sure of that," Aubameyang declared.
He expressed his sympathies to Ozil and Kolasinac, who were absent from the match, and hopes they can join him on the pitch again soon.
"I think everybody is excited about that. We will have time to play together and we will see," Aubameyang said.
With the arrival of club-record signing Nicolas Pepe, Aubameyang is confident that the team has the potential to reach its goals.
"[When we heard Pepe was coming here] we were happy because we know he can help us to reach our goals. So it is another weapon for us and that is very, very good," Aubameyang said.
