Manchester United and Chelsea's title hopes have been dealt a blow by Jose Mourinho, who believes that Manchester City's team B could be a stronger contender for the Premier League title.
Speaking as a pundit on Sky Sports, Mourinho, a former Manchester United boss, claimed that City's substitutes would more likely lift the title compared to United and Chelsea.
Manchester City lifted the coveted trophy in the last campaign, beating Liverpool by a single point in a race that was decided on the final day of the season.
Meanwhile, Manchester United kicked off their new campaign on a flying start, demolishing Chelsea 4-0 in their season opener at Old Trafford.
Among the teams Mourinho believes stand a better chance of winning the title include Manchester City, Liverpool, and Tottenham, with the latter having an outside chance.
"Four [teams can win the title]. Man City, Tottenham, Liverpool and Man City B team. I think the [City] B team could fight for the title," Mourinho said.
"Last season was phenomenal but I think Tottenham has to join it," he added.
