On August 12, 2019, Football Kenya Federation confirmed that Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne had agreed to leave the job on mutual consent.
The decision comes just days after Harambee Stars' elimination from the 2020 African Nations Championship by Tanzania.
Migne's tenure saw the team's return to the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt after a 15-year absence, but they were eliminated in the group stages.
Acting CEO Barry Otieno stated that the reorganization and appointment process for a new technical bench is underway, with a new team to steer Harambee Stars forward to be announced in the coming days.
