Sebastien Migne, the French coach of Harambee Stars, has left his position after a tumultuous tenure marked by fan backlash and disappointing results.
According to a statement from the Football Kenya Federation, Migne and the federation agreed to terminate his contract by mutual consent.
His departure comes just days after Harambee Stars were eliminated from the CHAN 2020 tournament by Tanzania in the first round.
Migne was appointed as Harambee Stars coach in May 2018, replacing Paul Put, and had a three-year deal.
He guided Kenya to their first Africa Cup of Nations in 15 years in Egypt in June 2019, but the team was bundled out in the group stages.
