Published on August 12, 2019, a day long party meeting convened by Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula in his county home turned out to be a disaster for Ford Kenya delegates.
According to sources, the delegates were not provided with food or even water during the meeting, leaving them hungry and thirsty for hours.
'How can he convene a delegates meeting and fail even to provide water for us? He kept us hungry the whole day!' a bitter member of the party posted on social media.
The incident has sparked outrage among senior members of the party, who claim that Wetangula runs the party like a personal kiosk and treats them with disdain.
They have vowed to take action against the party leader, with some even threatening to eject deputy party leader Boni Khalwale.
However, the threat remains a toothless dog's bark, with many questioning the party's ability to hold Wetangula accountable for his actions.
