Published on August 12, 2019, Willy Paul's story is a testament to the power of perseverance and faith.
Before becoming the Pozze he is known for today, Willy Paul was once a houseboy, washing and cleaning houses for various people.
According to Willy Paul, he was turned into a houseboy by a man who promised to raise and help him after the death of his father.
Willy Paul and his mother had to separate because they didn’t have anywhere to go, and everyone went their own way.
As Willy Paul narrated to Lilommy, 'Nilishawai teseka, nilishateswa sana. Niligeuzwa house boy.'
He further explained, 'When my dad died, we buried him and came back to Nairobi. My mother and I didn’t have a place to go. We separated and everyone went their own way.'
Willy Paul's journey from being a houseboy to an international star is a remarkable one, and he has spoken out about the suffering he endured at the hands of people.
As he wrote in a previous post, 'From nothing to something, from being a house boy to being an international star…God is good and real!! I suffered alot in the hands of man!! Let God be God #njiwa @officialnandy.'
