On Sunday, a middle-aged man in Kataa village, Kitui County, was taken into custody after a bizarre incident involving a cat and prayer.
According to eyewitnesses, the man had been operating in the area for the past month, offering prayers to locals.
He was invited into a neighbor's house to pray for the homestead, but his unusual method of holding a cat's head during the prayer raised suspicions.
Neighbours who arrived at the scene called the homeowner, who was away attending a nearby church service.
The man, who lacked identification documents, was arrested and taken to Ndolos Police Station for further investigation.
