On Sunday, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba's future with the team was left uncertain following a resounding 4-0 victory over Chelsea in the first match of their Premier League campaign.
Published on August 12, 2019, Pogba had previously expressed a desire to leave Manchester United during the close season, with links to Real Madrid and Juventus.
Despite his desire to leave, Pogba's professionalism was praised by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who commended his performance in setting up United's third and fourth goals against Chelsea.
When asked about his future, Pogba told French radio station RMC, 'I’m aware that things have been said. Only time will tell. There’s always that question mark.'
He added, 'I’m at Manchester. I have fun with my teammates. I always want to win matches and I always give my best when I’m on the pitch.'
The Premier League transfer window had closed on Thursday, but top-flight clubs in England are still allowed to sell players until the European window closes on September 2.
